Abstract

A laminate having a wood substrate covered on face, sides and part of the back with polyvinyl fluoride decorative film, film and substrate being textured by grooves and substrate being split by a triangular groove to form two identical pieces. Panels are not affected by weather, wear, stains, discolouration due to burning etc., because of inert polyvinyl fluoride film on the surface and sides of the panel. The panel has improved dimensional stability and holds greater tolerances. No painting is required and maintenance is minimal.
