Abstract
Agglomeration of detergent ingredients consists of introduction of dry particulate detergent and a caustic substance into the agglomeration zone, consisting of a rotating cylindrical arrangement. Then contacting the mixture in the agglomeration zone with an alkylarylsulphonic acid to agglomerate them. Pref. caustic substance is anhydrous K2CO3, Na2CO3, the respective sesquicarbonates or NaOH. Pref. sulphonic acid is dodecylbenzenesulphonic acid.
