Abstract

The device comprises two members in a hopper and bell arrangement and an electromagnetic seal having a coil wound in an annular slot formed in the surface of one member which abuts a surface of the other member. In the region of the abutting surfaces, the member consists of ferromagnetic material forming the magnetic coil circuit. Pref. the coil is inserted from the abutting surface with a non-magnetic annular insert.
