Abstract

A pre-prepared suspension of the desired concentration of filter aid, e.g. kieselguhr, is added to the filter; whereby a batch of the suspension of the concentration is maintained in uniform admixture by stirring, pulse metered by use of a membrane valve and fed into the impure liquid stream pipe by applying a reduced pressure. Used especially for swimming bath water.
