Abstract

The steam generating heat exchanger of a gas-cooled nuclear reactor is provided with surfaces 1 and 5 surrounding the heating area 2, and which are provided with sealing elements 7 and 8. To effect compensation for differential longitudinal expansion of the surfaces 1, 5 the part 8 is mounted in the flexible members 9, 10. The central axial channel 3 contains steam admission and outlet pipes 4.
