Abstract

The packaging container for a flat bottle or flask folds up into a rectangular parallelepiped. It comprises two large flat portions (1, 2) which are parallel in the folded up state, with the longest side of the flask. The base is formed by two tabs (10, 11) which fold inwards. A flat top portion (15) has a circular aperture (16) which supports the neck of the bottle. The sides (8, 9) front and back portions extends above the neck to the level of the stopper and are covered by two top flaps (12, 13). Side and top flaps (4, 5, 6, 7) are attached to the front section. The whole component may be cut from a single sheet carboard.
