Abstract

Abrasive material (12) consisting of small glass beads is supplied through a blasting line (16) to a blasting lance (18) for cleaning a surface (22). The abrasive material (12) is electrostatically charged in the blasting line (16), so that the dirt particles detached from the surface adhere to the abrasive material (12).
