Claims (9)

1. Förfarande för framställning av ett transparent meta1loxidpigment, i vilket en väsentlig del av kiseldioxiden bortlöses frän kiseldioxidbaserade partiklar, som belagts med transparent metalloxid, kännetecknat av att sädana partiklar valta tili extraktionen, väre kiseldioxidde1 är baslöslig och metalloxiddel svärlöslig eller olöslig i bas, och extraktionen genomförs med bas.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat av att partiklarna är skivformiga, metalloxidbelagda silikat-eller glaspartiklar, som förbehandlats för ästadkommande av baslöslighet hoe kärnan genom extraktion med mineralsyra säsom svavel-, sait- eller salpetersyra, företrädesvis till- sämmäns med ett oxidationsmedel säsom salpetersyra eller väte-peroxid.
