Claims (12)
1. Förfarande för oxidering av sulfidkopparmetall till en kopparmetallprodukt, som väsentligen ej alls in-5 nehäller järn, kännetecknat därav, att nämnda sulfidkopparmaterial bränns autogent i ett avgränsat ut-rymme med en gas innehällande syre i närvaro av ett kyl-medel och en kalkhaltig fluss, varvid ästadkomms en kalk-basslagg, som innehäller väsentligen allt järn och ali 10 kiseldioxid, som inmatats i det avgränsade utrymmet, smält kopparmetall innehällande högst ca 1,5 % svavel och avgas innehällande svaveldioxid, och därefter renas nämnda kalk-basslagg för utvinning av metallisk koppar di-rekt genom nämnda rening. 15
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känne tecknat därav, att den genom nämnda rening utvunna metalliska kopparn äterförs tili nämnda avgränsade ut-rymme.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kanne-20 tecknat därav, att nämnda sulfidkopparmaterial är valt ur en grupp, tili vilken hör sulfidkopparmalmkon-centrat och kopparskärSten.
