Claims (7)

1. Menetelmä mineraalivillan valmistamiseksi, jossa menetelmässä mineraaliraaka-ainetta (2) viedään sulatusyk- 5 sikköön (3), edullisesti kupoliuuniin, jossa mineraaliraa- ka-aine kuumennetaan siten, että sulaa mineraalimateriaa-lia (4) muodostuu sulatusyksiön pohjaan, minkä jälkeen sula mineraalimateriaali lasketaan pois sulatusyksiköstä, lisäkuumennetaan ja viedään vähintään yhtä laskukourua (8, 10 9) pitkin linkokoneeseen (10), jossa mineralimateriaali saatetaan kuitumaiseen muotoon, tunnettu siitä, että mainittu lisäkuumennus suoritetaan kuumentamalla sula mineraalimateriaali (4') sähköplasman avulla, jolloin plasmakuumennus suoritetaan laskukourussa (9) sulan mine-15 raalimateriaalin (4') virratessa laskukourussa, jotta sulan mineraalimateriaalin lämpötila saataisiin nopeasti säädetyksi ja jotta sula mineraalimateriaali saataisiin tasaisessa lämpötilassa viedyksi linkokoneeseen (10).
2. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 mukainen menetelmä, 20 tunnettu siitä, että mineraalimateriaalin lämpötila nostetaan plasmakuumentamisen avulla noin 20 - 150°C.
3. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että plasmakuumentamisen yhteydessä käytetään inerttiä suojakaasua, niin että plasmaenergia 25 saadaan tehokkaasti siirretyksi mineraalimateriaaliin.
4. Jonkin edellisen patenttivaatimuksen mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että käytetään TA ("transferred arc")-tyyppistä plasmavälineistöä.
5. Laite mineraalivillan valmistamiseksi, joka lai-30 te käsittää syöttölaitteen (1), sulatusyksikön (3), edullisesti kupoliuunin, kuljetuslaitteen (7) käsittäen las-kukourun (8, 9), lisäkuumennuslaitteen (11) ja linkokoneen (10), jossa laitteessa syöttölaite on tarkoitettu mineraa-liraaka-aineen (2) syöttämiseksi sulatusyksikköön, sula- 35 tusyksikkö on mineraaliraaka-aineen kuumentamiseksi sulak- 12 80667 si mineraalimateriaaliksi (4), kuljetuslaite on sulan mi-neraalimateriaalin kuljettamiseksi sulatusyksiköstä linko-koneeseen, lisäkuumennuslaite on sulatusyksiköstä lasketun sulan mineraalimateriaalin (4') lisäkuumentamista varten 5 ennen kuin tämä syötetään linkokoneeseen ja linkokone on tarkoitettu mineraalimateriaalin saattamiseksi kuitumuo-toon, tunnettu siitä, että lisäkuumennuslaitteen muodostaa plasmakuumennuslaite (11), joka on sovitettu laskukouruun (9) sulan mineraalimateriaalin (4' ) kuumenta-10 miseksi laskukourussa.
6. Patenttivaatimuksen 5 mukainen laite, tunnettu siitä, että plasmakuumennuslaite (11) käsittää negatiivisen plasmaelektrodin (18), joka on järjestetty laskukourussa (9) olevan sulan materiaalin yläpuolelle, ja 15 positiivisen plasmaelektrodin, joka on järjestetty sulan materiaalin alle ollen suorassa kosketuksessa tämän kanssa, lämpötilamittarin (21) sulan mineraalimateriaalin lämpötilan mittaamiseksi välittömästi ennen kuin se viedään linkokoneeseen (10), joka lämpötilamittari on kytketty 20 plasmaenergian syöttölaitteeseen (20), jota ohjaa tämän ja lämpötilamittarin väliin kytketty säädin (22).
