Claims (11)
1. Förfarande för framställning av en karboxylerad latex om-fattande en kopolymer, som innehäller (a) minst en konjugerad dien, (b) 30-85 vikt-% av minst en mono-vinylkomonomer, som ej är en karboxylsyra, (c) 0,25-5 vikt-% av minst en etyleniskt omättad karboxylsyra och (d) 0,5-5 vikt-% av minst en N-alkylol-amid av en alfa-beta-etyleniskt omättad karboxylsyra, varvid samtliga procenttal är räknade pä monomerernas sammanlagda vikt, kännetecknat av att polymeriseringsreaktionen utföres i tvä eller flera steg i närvaro av ett emulgeringsmedel, varvid monomerkomponenterna (a), (b) och (c) i deras helhet allt emulgeringsmedel och initiator och högst 50 vikt-% eller ingenting av monomer-komponenten (d) tillsättes i det första steget, vid vilket poly-meriseringen genomföres tili en omvandlingsgrad av 50-80 %, 15 67866 äterstoden av monomerkomponenten (d) eller ali denna komponent tillsättes i det andra steget, och den karboxylerade latexen utvinnes ur det sista steget.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat av att endast tvä reaktionssteg användes.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, kännetecknat av att reaktionen är en kontinuerlig polymerisering.
4. Förfarande enligt nägot av de föregäende patentkrav, kännetecknad av att den totala mängden av den tili polymerisationsreaktionen tillförda monomerkomponenten (d) är 0,5-5,0 % räknat pä den totala vikten av monomerkomponenterna (a) , (b) , (c) och (d) .
5. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 4,kännetecknat av att den totala mängden monomerkomponent (d) är 1-2 % räknat pä samma grund.
6. Förfarande enligt nägot av de föregäende patentkraven, kännetecknat av att monomerkomponenten (d) tillsättes i det andra steget.
7. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-5, k ä n n e -tecknat av att mängden av den i det första steget tillsatta monomerkomponenten (d) icke överstiger 30 % av den totala vikten av den tili polymerisationsreaktionen tillförda monomerkomponenten (d) . 1 Förfarande enligt patentkravet 3, kännetecknat av att reaktionen utföres som ett kontinuerligt förfarande i tvä omrörda behällarreaktorer, varvid den första reaktorn hälles vid en temperatur av 75-85°C och den andra reaktorn vid en temperatur av 85-100°C, och varvid den genomsnittliga uppehällstiden i den första reaktorn är 3-5 timmar.
