Claims (9)
1. Cell för elektrolys av alkalimetallhalogenidlösningar, kännetecknad av att den innehäller följande kon-struktionselement: ett ihäligt rörformigt katodelement (1*0 med vätskepermeabla väggar; ett ihäligt rörformigt anodelement (18) som har vätskepermeabla väggar och som är anbragt koncentriskt inuti katodele-mentet längs en gemensam axel; ett jonpermeabelt rörformigt membran (16) som är anbragt utanpä och täcker anodelementets ytteryta sä att ytorna av anoden (18) och katoden (1*1) separeras frän varandra och anod- (*l8) och katodrum (50) bildas; anordning (30, 2*1) för införsel av alkalimetallhalogenidlösning i anodrummet och för avlägsnande av halogengas och använd lösning frän anodrummet; 12 61323 anordning (28, 26) för införsel av vätska i katodrummet och för avlägsnande av gas- och vätskeprodukter frän katodrummet; en ledningsanordning (22, 12) för införsel av elektrolysström tili anoden och katoden; ett yttre hölje (10) som omger katodelementet (14) sä att det innesluter katodrummet (50) och som har öppningar vid varje ände, väri katodelementet, membranet, och anodelementet är anbringade och tättslutna.
2. Cell enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknad av att det rörformiga membranet (16) är permeabelt för passage av katjoner och väsentligen ogenomträngligt för hydrodynamisk strömning av elektrolyt.
3· Cell enligt patentkrav 2, kännetecknad av att det rörformiga membranet (16) utgöres av en katjonpermeabel perfluorkolpolymer med vidhängande sulfongrupper. *1. Cell enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknad av att det jonpermeabla membranet (16) har formen av ett extrude-rat rör.
5· Cell enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknad av att ledningsanordningen för matning av anodelementet med Ström innefattar en skena (22) som är anbringad inuti den rörformiga anoden längs hela dess längdaxel och som är i elektrisk kontakt med anoden längs väsentligen hela anodlängden.
6. Cell enligt patentkrav 5» kännetecknad av att skenorna (22) hälles i kontakt med anoden via ett flertal radiella kontaktelement (20).
7. Cell enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknad av att ledningsanordningen för matning av katodelementet med ström innefattar ätminstone en skena (12) som är anbringad inuti det ringformiga utrymmet mellan den rörformiga katoden och det yttre höljet (10) och som halles i elektrisk kontakt med katoden längs väsentligen hela katodlängden.
