Abstract

PURPOSE: A common-rail system is provided to sense leakage sections generated between inner and outer pipes by forming leakage detecting units on high pressure fuel line between cylinders or injectors. CONSTITUTION: A common-rail system supplies liquid fuel to a cylinder of an internal combustion engine. The common-rail system of a double fuel engine ignites gas/air mixer formed in the cylinder. The common-rail system passes through an outer pipe surrounding an inner pipe. A double wall high pressure fuel line is extended to carry out leakage material in a leakage collecting container. A leakage detecting device(10) is formed in a high pressure fuel line(3) between each cylinder and each injector. Each leakage detecting device opens the flow through an outer pipe(5) of the high pressure fuel line in a first location and blocks the flow through the outer pipe of the high pressure fuel line in a second location.
