Claims (11)
1. Förfarande för termisk behandling av α-spodumen eller litium-aluminiumsilikat, varmed det görs tili lösligt β-spodumen som är 5 förmänligare för fortsatt behandling, kännetecknat därav, att finfördelat koncentrat eller malm med en kornstorlek av 20-1000 pm processas i en virvelbäddsreaktor vid en temperatur av 800-1000 °C med användning av syrehaltig gas som flotationsgas, varvid virvelbäddens temperatur väljs enligt spodumenets och bränslets 10 föroreningar sä att bildandet av alltför Stora, över 15 %, smältfaser undviks i virvelbädden.

Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1 eller 2, kännetecknat därav, att mängden av syre som ingär i den syrehaltiga flotationsgas som mätäs 20 tili virvelbäddsreaktorn är i överensstämmelse med den mängd av syre som behövs för syresättningen av den för upphettningen av virvelbädden behövliga bränslemängden. o

8. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 4, kännetecknat därav, att bränsle i form 10 av vätska eller gas eller fast bränsle matas med lansar till den bubblande virvelbädden som bränsle.
9. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat därav, att den värmeenergi som ingar i produkten som lämnar virvelbäddsreaktorn 15 utnyttjas i produktens virvelbäddskylare vid förvärmningen av bränsle- /flotationsluften som matas till virvelbäddsreaktorn.
10. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 9, kännetecknat därav, att ur den heta syrehaltiga gas som lämnar virvelbäddskylaren tillvaratas damm innan 20 gasen matas till virvelbäddsreaktorn.
