CONSISTE EN ACTIVAR EL GRUPO -CH2 DE UNA BASE DE SCHIFF, DE FORMULA GENERAL (II), DE UN COMPUESTO ETEREO COMO DISOLVENTE, CON UNA BASE FUERTE, ES DECIR UN CARBANION, Y A CONTINUACION SE ARALQUIZA CON EL CORRESPONDIENTE HALOGENURO DE BENCILO SUSTITUIDO, DE FORMULA GENERAL (III).
