COMPRENDE: A) MEZCLAR POLVO REDUCIDO CON UNA MATERIA PRIMA DE TIPO DE OXIDO DE HIERRO; B) AÑADIR UN AGLUTINANTE A LA MEZCLA; C) PRODUCIR PELLAS O BRIQUETAS CRUDAS A PARTIR DE LA MATERIA PRIMA; Y D) CURAR LAS PELLAS CRUDAS EN UNA ATMOSFERA DE DIOXIDO DE CARBONO GASEOSO Y VAPOR DE AGUA Y ENTRE 50 Y 100JC. EL POLVO DE HIERRO CONTIENE DE 5 A 30% EN PESO DE HIERRO METALICO; UNA MATERIA PRIMA DE TIPO DE OXIDO DE HIERRO QUE CONTIENE FINOS DE MINERAL DE HIERRO O POLVO SUBDIMENSIONADO DE PELLAS COCIDAS, SIENDO EL AGLUTINANTE CEMENTO. SE UTILIZA EN LOS PROCESOS DE REDUCCION DE MENAS DE METALES.
