METODO DE PURIFICACION DE GASES INDUSTRIALES QUE CONTIENEN CIANURO DE HIDROGENO, AMONIACO Y OTROS COMPUESTOS. CONSISTE EN EL LAVADO EN CIRCUITO CON AGUA QUE CONTIENE FORMALDEHIDO, SEGUIDO DEL TRATAMIENTO DEL AGUA CON AGUA OXIGENADA PARA OXIDAR EL GLICONITRILO FORMADO. EL FORMALDEHIDO SE APORTA AL AGUA DEL CIRCUITO ANTES DEL LAVADO Y SE DOSIFICA MEDIANTE CONTROL CONTINUO POTENCIOMETRICO, CON UN ELECTRODO DE METAL NOBLE Y UN ELECTRODO DE REFERENCIA INTRODUCIDOS EN UNA CORRIENTE DERIVADA DEL CIRCUITO, EN LA QUE SE MANTIENE EL PH A UN VALOR ENTRE 7 Y 10 MEDIANTE ADICION DE ALCALI O ACIDO. TIENE APLICACIONES PARA LA PURIFICACION DE GASES PROCEDENTES DE ALYTOS HORNOS, SINTESIS DE ACRILONITRILO O PIROLISIS DE BASURAS.
