Abstract

For the purpose of locking a fitting provided with a rising spindle (2) against unauthorised adjustment in a locked position, the axially undisplaceable spindle nut (3) is connected via disengageable driver pins (6) to a driver disc (5) and a handwheel (8). The driver disc (5) is surrounded by a hood (15) which is fixed in a manner secured against rotation on the housing of the fitting. Provided inside the hood (15) is a sleeve (19) which is axially displaceable via the locking pin (20) of a lock (21). In the locked position, the sleeve (19) connects the driver disc (5) to fixed parts of the housing of the fitting. The driver disc (5) is provided with external toothing (30) into which the internal toothing of radially displaceable toothed rings (28, 29) engages. Guided on the circumference of the toothed rings (28, 29) is a blocking slide (32), which is loaded by a spring (33) and which, outside the locked position, engages in an axial bore (34) in the sleeve (19).
