Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for the deburring of non-baked ceramic mouldings, by means of which the burr occurring during the casting, pressing or turning of the mouldings can be removed quickly and with uniformly high quality, irrespective of the geometry of the mouldings, irrespective of their position on the turntable and irrespective of the geometrical differences between the mouldings of a series which are caused, for example, by varying drying shrinkage. This object is achieved, according to the invention, in that a non-rotating deburring tool connected to a tool guide via a force sensor can be tilted and displaced into a position perpendicular to the plane tangential to the machining point of the moulding and is linearly displaceable on two straight lines which are non-parallel to one another, are preferably perpendicular to one another, do not lie in the tangential plane and are parallel to the tangential plane, or in that these two straight lines constitute axes for tilting movements. By means of the deburring apparatus according to the invention, plates, dishes or vases preferably provided with perforations can be deburred during the production of large quantities.
