CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE LA SAL SODICA DE MERCAPTOBENZOTIAZOL, UNA AMINA PRIMARIA, COMO CICLOHEXILAMINA, T-BUTILAMINA, ISOPROPILAMINA O T-PENTILAMINA, Y UN AGENTE DE OXIDACION, TAL COMO LEJIA DE BLANQUEO DE CLORO, CLORO GASEOSO O PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO. LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO EN DISOLUCION ACUOSA, HASTA QUE SE HA EFECTUADO UNA TRANSFORMACION DE 80 A 90% DEL MERCAPTOBENZOTIAZOL, EN EXCESO DE AMINA, A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 20JC Y 80JC. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES EN LA INDUSTRIA DE LA GOMA COMO ACELERADOR DE LA VULCANIZACION.
