PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA SEPARACION, POR LO MENOS PARCIAL, DE UNA MEZCLA BINARIA DE NITROGENO Y OXIGENO. CONSISTE EN HACER PASAR UNA MEZCLA GASEOSA BINARIA DE OXIGENO Y NITROGENO A TRAVES DE UN LECHO QUE CONTIENE UNA COMPOSICION ABSORBENTE FORMADA POR UNA ZEOLITA X TERMICAMENTE ACTIVADA, CON IONES POLIVALENTES INTERCAMMBIADOS QUE TIENEN POR LO MENOS UN 80% DE SU CAPACIDAD IONICA INTERCAMBIABLE EN LA FORMA POLIVALENTE Y CUYO CONTENIDO DE ZEOLITA ES DE POR LO MENOS UN 70%. DICHA ZEOLITA HA DE TENER UNA MAYORIA DE SUS IONES POLIVALENTES EN UN ESTADO DESHIDRATADO-DESHIDROXILADO PARA REDUCIR LA PRESION DE VAPOR DE AGUA EN EL MEDIO GASEOSO QUE ESTA EN CONTACTO CON LA COMPOSICION, A MENOR DE 0,4 ATMOSFERAS, A TEMPERATURAS SUPERIORES A 150 GRADOS. DE APLICACION EN LA PREPARACION DE ZEOLITAS QUE CONTIENEN FAUJASITA.
