CONSISTE EN MANTENER EL METAL A EXTRAER EN FORMA DISUELTA O SUSPENDIDA EN SOLUCION ACUOSA; AÑADIR A LA SOLUCION ACUOSA COMPUESTOS ORGANICOS BIOLOGICAMENTE DESINTEGRABLES Y, EN CASO DADO, COMPUESTOS DE NITROGENO Y FOSFORO, TRAS LO CUAL LA SOLUCION ACUOSA SE PONE EN CONTACTO CON LODO ANAEROBICO, DESHIDRATANDO DICHO LODO, DESPUES DE LASTRARSE CON LOS METALES, Y CONDUCIRLO COMO PRODUCTO A UN TRATAMIENTO DE EXTRACCION DE METALES; EMPLEANDOSE COMO SOLUCION ACUOSA ACIDOS ORGANICOS, AÑADIENDOSE A ESTAS ACIDOS MINERALES Y/U OXIDANTES; MANTENIENDOSE UN CONTENIDO CSB DE 50 MG/L; Y DONDE LA SOLUCION ACUOSA ES PUESTA EN CONTACTO CON EL LODO ANAEROBIO A TEMPERATURAS ENTRE 10 Y 65JC Y A UN VALOR DE PH DE 2,5 A 9,5.
