EN LA PRIMERA ETAPA, LA FRACCION DE HIDROCARBURO C4 SE SOMETE A DESTILACION CON EXTRACCION USANDO UN DISOLVENTE POLAR. EL EXTRACTO OBTENIDO SE SOMETE A UNA DESTILACION, SEGUNDA ETAPA, OBTENIENDOSE UNA FRACCION CON BUTENO-1 E HIDROCARBUROS DIOLEFINICOS O ACETILENICOS POR LA CABEZA DE LA COLUMNA Y UNA MEZCLA DE CIS-BUTENO-2/TRANS-BUTENO-2 POR EL FONDO DE LA COLUMNA. EN LA TERCERA ETAPA, OTRA DESTILACION OBTIENE BUTENO-1 COMO EXTRACTO, ELIMINANDOSE EL AGUA PRESENTE EN LA CUARTA ETAPA CON OTRA DESTILACION.
