Abstract

The boiler is characterised in that an additional gas pipe 7 made at the top of the boiler and the combustion chamber 4 are separated by a wall 24 for transmitting heat from the said chamber to the said pipe in order to bring about variations in the condition of the additional gas, and in that the gas pipe and the smoke pipe 5 have neighbouring orifices 72, 51 so that the said variations in condition bring about modifications in the draught and regulation in the combustion. The method is characterised in that the heat of combustion is transmitted to an additional gas circulating in order to modify its pressure, and the smoke and this additional gas are put in turbulent contact into order to modify the flow rate of the smoke.
