PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE 1H- O 2H-TETRAZOL-5-TIOLES, DE FORMULA (I), EN LA QUE R ES HIDROGENO O ALQUILO C1-3.CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE UN COMPUESTO TETRAZOLICO, DE FORMULA (II), EN LA QUE R3 ES N-(ALQUIL C1-3)-N-CLOROCARBONILAMIDA Y R4 ES CLORO, TIOL O TIOL PROTEGIDO, CON LA AZIDA DE TETRAMETILGUANIDINIO O CON TRIAZIDA DE ALUMINIO. LA REACCION SE EFECTUA EN UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO INTERTE A LA TEMPERATURA DE REFLUJO DE LA MEZCLA DE REACCION.ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES COMO INTERMEDIOS PARA LA SINTESIS DE ANTIBIOTICOS DE CEFALOSPORINA DE AMPLIO ESPECTRO.
