SE PRECIPITA ZINC DE UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA QUE CONTIENE SULFATO DE ZINC, USANDO UN COMPUESTO QUE CONTIENE OXIDO DE ZINC COMO PRECIPITADOR EN UNA INSTALACION DE PROCEDIMIENTO DE PRECIPITACION SELECTIVA PSC, PRODUCIENDO SOLIDOS PRECIPITADOS QUE CONTIENEN SULFATO BASICO DE ZINC Y UNA SOLUCION AGOTADA DE ZINC, DEVOLVIENDOSE LOS SOLIDOS AL CIRCUITO. LA SOLUCION AGOTADA DE ZINC SE DEVUELVE AL CIRCUITO EN ASOCIACION CON LOS SOLIDOS MEDIANTE UN METODO QUE INCLUYE LA PRECIPITACION DE LA PORCION DEL ZINC DE LA SOLUCION ACUOSA USANDO UN COMPUESTO DE CARBONATO CALCICO COMO PECIPITADOR, O BIEN LLEVANDO SOLIDOS DE UNA PRECIPITACION DE ZINC EN UNA INSTALACION PSC, A UN SISTEMA DE SEPARACION SOLIDO-LIQUIDO EN EL QUE LA SOLUCION AGOTADA EN ZINC ASOCIADA CON LOS SOLIDOS ES DESPLAZADA POR UNA SOLUCION TOMADA DEL CIRCUITO.
