EL PROCEDIMIENTO UTILIZA UN PLETISMOGRAFO FOTOELECTRICO EN UN MANGUITO DE PRESION (1) LLENO DE FLUIDO, UN CIRCUITO ELECTRONICO DE CONTROL Y UNA VALVULA ELECTRICA DE PRESION (10). LA PRESION DEL MANGUITO ES CONTROLADA POR LA SEÑAL PLETISMOGRAFICA EN UNA OPERACION DE CIRCUITO CERRADO POR MEDIO DE UN NIVEL DE SERVO-REFERENCIA, PARA QUE EL VOLUMEN ARTERIAL SE MANTENGA A UN VALOR AJUSTADO PREVIAMENTE.
