COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: PRIMERA, SE TRATA LA SOLUCION ACUOSA A DEPURAR CON UN COMPUESTO DE MAGNESIO PARA PROVOCAR LA PRECIPITACION DEL ARSENIATO DE MAGNESIO; SEGUNDA, SE CAUSTIFICA DICHA SOLUCION ACUOSA MEDIANTE CAL PARA TRANSFORMAR LOS CARBONATOS EN HIDROXIDOS ALCALINOS; TERCERA, SE SEPARA EL LIQUIDO ENRIQUECIDO EN HIDROXIDO ALCALINO Y UN PRIMER PRECIPITADO QUE CONTIENE ESENCIALMENTE CARBONATO CALCICO, PARA SOMETERLOS A UN LAVADO; Y POR ULTIMO, SE CONCENTRA POR EVAPORACION LA MEZCLA DEL LIQUIDO DE LAVADO DEL PRIMER PRECIPITADO HASTA LA OBTENCION DE UN SEGUNDO PRECIPITADO CONSTITUIDO BASICAMENTE POR SULFATO ALCALINO.
