SE CONFIERE AL MATERIAL POLIMERO UNA ESTRUCTURA MOLECULAR AMORFA O PARCIALMENTE ORIENTADA, DE TAL MANERA QUE LA ESTRUCTURA SUPERFICIAL FORMA PARTE DE UNA CAPA ESPONJADA Y QUE ESTA RODEE UN NUCLEO DE FIBRA, FUNDAMENTALMENTE EXENTO DE POROS. SE UTILIZA ENTONCES UN ELECTRODO DE ASPERSION PARA PROPORCIONAR UN DESPRENDIMIENTO CONTINUO DE CANTIDADES, DE FORMA Y TAMAÑO IGUALES DEL MATERIAL POLIMERO DISUELTO.
