SE SOMETE EL RECIPIENTE DE VIDRIO A UN TRATAMIENTO EN CALIENTE DURANT EL CUAL LA SUPERFICIE DE ACABADO SE MODIFICA PARA MEJORAR SU ADHERENCI EN UN DISPOSITIVO DE CIERRE DE MATERIAL TERMOPLASTICO. SE EFECTUA A CONTINUACION UN RECOCIDO DEL RECIPIENTE, REVISTIENDOSE LA SUPERFICIE EXTERNA CON UN MATERIAL QUE AUMENTA LA LUBRICIDAD, LO QUE HACE MEJORAR LA RESISTENCIA A LA ABRASION Y AL RAYADO DEL VIDRIO. SE EVITA LA CONTAMINACION DE LA SUPERFICIE DE ACABADO MEDIANTE PULIMENTACION A LA LLAMA O FUSION SUPERFICIAL DEL VIDRIO.
