Abstract
The system supplies solid fuel to different points of consumption, having a fuel accumulator (21) between the mechanism preparing the fine fuel. The pump (11) delivers the fuel to the supply pipes (12,12a,13,14,14a,15) for the points concerned. Any excess fuel at these points is returned to this accumulator from a union near where it is distributed to them and downstream of the pump. The accumulator can consist of a hopper of predetermined capacity, with an outlet feed mechanism (20a) connected between the preparation mechanism outlet and the pump inlet. Solenoid-operated valves (28,30) upstream of the connection point regulate the fuel from the preparation mechanism and the supply of air, and are automatically controlled by level detectors (22,23) inside the hopper.
