Abstract

The rod of prestressed concrete or mortar for stabilising a supporting wall, panel or foundation cast into the ground has a tube incorporated into its body during manufacture. The tube allows mortar to be introduced securing the rod into the surrounding ground and into the layer of ground situated at its end. The rod may be used as a small supporting pile. Since the reinforcement in the rod is prestressed during manufacture, installation on site is consequently aided.
