EL 2,5 DIMETIOL-TETRAHIDROFURANO SE ALQUILA EN PRIMER LUGAR CON 1 A 10 (PREFERENTEMENTE DE 2 A 4) MOLES DE OXIDO ETILENICO Y/O OXIDO PROPILENICO, Y DESPUES SE ESTERIFICA CON ANHIDRICO DE ACIDO MALEICO Y SE HACE REACCIONAR CON METACRILATO DE GLICIDILO. SE OBTIENE EL COMPUESTO DE FORMULA GENERAL (I).
