PR OCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE 6(9)-ISOPROPIL-9(6)-METIL-6,9 ETANO-2-OXASPIRO 4-5-DEC-7-ENOS DE EFECTO PERFUMANTE. CONSTA DE LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: 1. REACCION DE ADICION SEGUN DIELS-ALDER ENTRE ANHIDRIDO DEL ACIDO ITACONICO Y ALFA-TERPINENO. 2. REDUCCION DEL ADUCTO DE DIELS-ALDER CON UN HIDRURO METALICO COMPLEJO PARA DAR AL 1(4)-ISOPROPIL-4-(1)-METIL-2-HIDROXIETIL-2-HIDROXIMETIL-BICICLO-(2.2.2)-OCT-5-ENO. 3. EFECTUAR LA CICLACION DEL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO EN 6(9)-ISOPROPIL-(9)-METIL-6,9-ETANO-2-OXASPIRO-(4,5)-DEC-7-ENO EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR ACIDO. LA ADICION DE DIELS-ALDER SE VERIFICA EN AUSENCIA DE DISOLVENTE Y BAJO UN EXCESO DEL 10 AL 20 POR 100 MOLAR DE ALFA-TERPINENO A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 10 Y 195 GRADOS CENTIGRADOS. LA REDUCCION DEL ADUCTO DE DIELS-ALDER SE EFECTUA MED IANTE EL EMPLEO DE DIHIDRURO DE (2-METOXIETOXI)-ALUMINIO Y SODIO.
