PROCEDIMIENTO PARA OBTENER PIGMENTO DE HIERRO AMARILLO. SE HACE PRECIPITAR EL PIGMENTO DE OXIDO DE HIERRO AMARILLO, MEDIANTE LA ADICION DE UN CARBONATO METALICO, COMO CARBONATO MAGNESICO O CALCICO, EN PRESENCIA DE OXIGENO, A UNA SOLUCION DE UNA SAL FERROSA SOLUBLE, EMPLEANDOSE NORMALMENTE UNA SOLUCION DE CLORURO FERROSO RESIDUAL PROCEDENTE DE LA INDUSTRIA DEL ACERO. SE REALIZA A UNA TEMPERATUA COMPRENDIDA ENTE 10 Y 90 C. EN EL SISTEMA DE REACCION SE DEBE MANTENER LA ACIDEZ DURANTE LA PRECIPITACION, HACIENDO ASI ESTABLE AL PIGMENTO AMARILLO. PARA ELLO SE DEBE MANTENER EL PH DEL SISTEMA DE REACCION EN UN VALOR INFERIOR A 4. POR ESTA RAZON EL CABONATO METALICO ELEGIDO DEBE SER SOLIBLE UNICAMENTE EN PRESENCIA DE UN PH INFERIOR A 4.
