Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PRODUCCION DE GRANULOS ESFERICOS A PARTIR DE UNA MASA MINERAL FUNDIDA. CONSISTENTE EN VERTER LA MATERIA FUNDIDA EN UN DISPOSITIVO ROTATIVO, QUE PROYECTA LAS PARTICULAS DESMENUZADAS A LA ATMOSFERA, QUE SE RECUPERAN, EN FORMA MAYORITARIA DE BOLAS, EN UN AREA DE RECEPCION. COMO VARIANTE, LA MASA FUNDIDA CAE PRIMERAMENTE EN UN PLANO INCLINADO Y DESPUES EN EL DISPOSITIVO ROTATIVO. EN NINGUN CASO SE REALIZA ENFRIAMIENTO ALGUNO, GASEOSO O LIQUIDO, ENTRE LA COLADA DE LA MASA Y LA RECUPERACION DE LAS BOLAS. EL DISPOSITIVO ROTATIVO ESTA CONSTITUIDO POR UN CUERPO CILINDRICO O POLIGONAL, PROVISTOS DE PALETAS O CUCHILLAS, CUYA VELOCIDAD PERIFERICA ES SUPERIOR A 10 M./S. DE APLICACION PARA TRATAMIENTO DE ESCORIAS METALURGICAS, PARA SU POSTERIOR UTILIZACION COMO AGENTES DESOXIDANTES, TRATAMIENTOS DE SUPERFICIE O COMPONENTES DE HORMIGONES REFRACTARIOS.
