Abstract

PROCEDIMIENTO DE OBTENCION DE ACIDO 3-TIENILMALONICO. CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR UN 3-TIENILCIANOACETATO CON AL MENOS UN EXCESO MOLAR DE UN HIDROXIDO DE METAL ALCALINO TAL COMO EL HIDROXIDO DE POTASIO O DE SODIO. SE EMPLEA AGUA COMO DISOLVENTE, SIENDO POSIBLE ADICIONAR UN CO-DISOLVENTE. LA REACCION SE EFECTUA A UNA TEMPERATURA SUPERIOR A 40GC. SI DICHA TEMPERATURA ES DE 75 A 80GC LA HIDROLISIS SE COMPLETA EN 2-2,5 HORAS, MIENTRAS QUE A 100-110GC EL TIEMPO ES DE 30 A 40 MINUTOS. PREFERENTEMENTE SE ELIMINA EL VAPOR DE AMONIACO FORMADO POR BURBUJEO DE UN ACIDO CLORHIDRICO Y POSTERIORMENTE SE EXTRAE CON DISOLVENTES. INTERMEDIO EN LA PRODUCCION DE PENICILINA.
