CONSISTENTE EN OBTENER EL COMPUESTO (I) POR REACCION DEL BIS-(P-HIDROXIFENIL)-2-PIRIDILMETANO CON ETILVINILETER, EN PRESENCIA DE CATALIZADORES ACIDOS. A SU VEZ, EL BIS-(P-HIDROXIFENIL)-2-PIRIDIL-METANO ES FACILMENTE ACCESIBLE, POR EJEMPLO, MEDIANTE HIDROLISIS DE DIACETOXIDERIVADO CORRESPONDIENTE, QUE ES UN PRODUCTO COMERCIAL CONOCIDO. LA REACCION PARA OBTENCION DE (I) SE EFECTUA, DE PREFERENCIA, A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 0 Y 60GC, OPORTUNAMENTE ENTRE 10 Y 30GC.
