Abstract

The pump has a cylindrical distributor (2) within a casing (1). The distributor has gear teeth on its circumference which mesh with the teeth of a worm gear (3) perpendicular to it. The worm gear causes the distributor to rotate. The distributor contains a cylinder (5) parallel to and offset from the distributor axis. The cylinder contains a piston (6) the end of which runs on an inclined plate (8) in the casing below the distributor. The plate causes the piston to reciprocate as it travels in a circle. The cylinder comes opposite inlet and discharge ports (11,12) in succession as it also travels in a circle.
