Abstract

Procedimiento de obtención de cristales mixtos conteniendo uranio y gadolinio, para combustibles nucleares, caracterizado porque se introduce una solución de nitrato de uranilo que contiene disuelto el deseado contenido en gadolinio, juntamente con NH3 y CO2, en un aparato de precipitación que contiene una solución acuosa de carbonato de amonio con un valor pH de 9: se reduce este valor pH a 8,2 durante el proceso de precipitación provocado con ello; y las sales de amonio precipitadas, de gadolinio y complejos de carbonato de uranilo, se transforman a una forma de óxido sinterizable.
