Abstract
Un procedimiento para preparar una composición aglutinante que contiene resina fenólica e isocianato, procedimiento que comprende hacer reaccionar (A) un componente de resina fenólica que incluye al menos una resina fenólica seleccionada del grupo que consiste en resinas resol fenólicas y resinas de novolaca fenólicas, y (B) un componente de isocianato que tiene una funcionalidad de dos o más, en presencia de (C) catalizador suficiente para catalizar sustancial y completamente la reacción entre los componentes (A) y (B), añadiéndose disolvente suficiente para reducir la viscosidad de dicho componente de resina fenólica hasta por debajo de aproximadamente 1000 centipoises, cuyo disolvente comprende una mezcla de (1) un disolvente de hidrocarburo y (2) un disolvente orgánico polar que contiene éster orgánico seleccionado del grupo que consiste en ésteres de forfato orgánico y carbonato orgánico y sus mezclas en cantidad al menos suficiente para aumentar la velocidad de curado y la solubilidadde dicho componente de resina fenólica.
