Abstract
1. Procedimiento para la producción de una espuma de poliuretano de células abiertas, semiflexible, absorbedora de impactos y de energía, capaz de absorber repetidamente choques sin daños estructurales, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de proporcionar una mezcla física de: (a) un polietertriol que tiene un índice de hidroxilo de 25 a 115, con (b) un compuesto modificador voluminoso que es soluble en dicho triol (a), sin reaccionar con dicho triol (a), que tiene un solo punto de hidrógeno reactivo, seleccionado del grupo consistente en: (i) naftaleno sustituido con un sustituyente del grupo consistente en -OH, -COOH, -NH2, Y -SH; (ii) antraceno sustituido con un sustituyente elegido del grupo consistente en -OH, -COOH, -NH2 y -SH; (iii) fenantreno sustituído con un sustituyente elegido del grupo consistente en -OH, -COOH, -NH2 y -SH; (iv) alcohol hidroabietílico; y (v) dehidroabietilamina; combinar entonces dicha mezcla física de (a) y (b) en estado sin reaccionar con: (c) un poliisocianato aromático; (d) al menos un agente expansionante elegido entre agua y agente expansionante de poliuretano líquido, orgánico, volátil, de bajo punto de ebullición; (e) al menos una sustancia que es un agente extendedor de cadena o reticulante de poliuretano que tiene al menos dos hidrógenos reactivos; y (f) un catalizador para la reacción de formación de poliuretano entre dicho triol (a) y dicho poliisocianato (c); con lo cual se forma una espuma de poliuretano capaz de distribuir cargas y que tiene unas características realzadas de absorción de impactos y energía en comparación con una espuma por otra parte similar pero de la cual se ha omitido el citado compuesto modificador (b).
