Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de ácido 2,3-dihidro-2-etil- benzofuran-5-il-acético, caracterizado porque comprende hacer reaccionar cantidades sustancialmente equimoleculares de cloroglioxilato de etilo y 2,3-dihidro-2-etil-benzofurano en presencia de un catalizador de Friedel Craft elegido entre tetracloruro de titanio y tetracloruro de estaño, en presencia de un disolvente elegido entre los clorohidrocarburos alifáticos inferiores, a una temperatura comprendida entre -10 y 30ºC, aislar de la masa de reacción el 2,3-dihidro-2-etil- benzofuran-5-il-glioxilato de etilo, hacer reaccionar este último con hidrato de hidracina o un título comprendido entre 80 y 100%, a una temperatura entre 80 y 200ºC, en presencia de un disolvente elegido entre los alcoholes con 4-6 átomos de carbono y los glicoles y someter directamente la hidrazona de la 2,3-dihidro-2-etil-benzofuran-5-il-glioxilhidrazida así formada a calentamiento a una temperatura comprendida entre 100ºC y 200ºC en presencia de una solución de una base inorgánica fuerte.
