Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en bombas de inyección de combustible líquido para motores de combustión interna, de cilindros múltiples que tiene una tobera de inyección de combustible por cada cilindro, una bomba de carga que funciona para generar carga de impulsos periódicos de combustible a presión, un distribuidor de combustible entre la bomba de carga y las toberas de inyección que proporciona un paso de alimentación para alimentar en secuencia las cargas de impulso de combustible a las diversas toberas: una válvula de descarga de movimiento alternativo situada en el conducto de alimentación y que proporciona un paso para conducir el combustible por la válvula de descarga, proporcionando el conducto de alimentación un asiento para la válvula de descarga; y un muelle que empuja a la válvula de descarga hacia su posición asentada contra la presión generada por la bomba de carga, caracterizados porque la válvula de descarga es una válvula de descarga de desplazamiento positivo que cierra el paso o conducto para evitar el flujo de combustible en una u otra dirección cuando se asienta la válvula de descarga, teniendo el paso medios de lumbrera abiertos solamente cuando la válvula de descarga de ha levantado de su asiento en una primera distancia, abriéndose los medios de lumbrera para proporcionar una mayor área de flujo de combustible cuando la válvula de descarga se levanta de su asiento una mayor distancia, por lo que la válvula de descarga retrocede después de la descarga de cada carga de impulso de combustible a una tobera para reducir la presión a la salida de la válvula de descarga en todos los caudales de combustible y retrocede una mayor cantidad a elevados caudales de combustible que a bajos caudales de combustible.
