Abstract

Mejoras en emulsiones de silicona para tratar materiales de silicato en partículas para hacer las resistentes al agua, caracterizadas porque la emulsión comprende (a) de 40 a 60 partes de peso de un fluido de silicona, teniendo unidades de R2SiO, unidades de RSiO1,5, en que la proporción de unidades órgano siloxi respecto a unidades diorgano siloxi varia de 0,11 a 1,4 inclusive, y la proporción de unidades triorganosiloxi respecto a unidades diorganosiloxi varia desde 0,02 hasta alrededor de 1, inclusive, y el fluido tiene un contenido de silanol que varía de 0,1 a 8 por ciento de peso y variando la viscosidad de 10 a 10.000 centipoise a 25ºC y porque R es un radical hidrocarburo monovalente, (b) de 0,5 a 5 partes de peso de un ácido carboxílico alifático, teniendo de 6 a 20 átomos de carbono; © de 0,1 a 0,8 partes de peso de amoniaco y (d) de 20 a 150 partes de agua.
