Abstract

The bottle decorating machine using the heat transfer system, has a conveyor belt (100) which contains a mechanism for the supply and pick-up of the belt and a belt winder located close to the pick up mechanism. The winder draws the support belt (105) through the preset route but during the period of the label transfer and during the periods between label transfer no pull is exerted onto the band. The belt transport mechanism can guide the belt at the speed required along a pre-set route. A control mechanism contains a photo-electric detector adjusted on the label carrying section of the support band, and which checks the presence or absence of a label.
