Abstract
Procedimiento para la soldadura con arco de piezas de cuproniquel (ASME P.34) utilizando un electrodo en forma de varilla revestida de fundente, caracterizado porque se utiliza una soldadura a tope en "V abierta" con un cara de raíz que tiene una anchura media superior a 1, 5 mm (1/16 pulgadas) y no superior a 3,2 mm (1/8 pulgadas) y un intervalo de raíz incluido entre 2 y 3 mm, caracterizándose además el procedimiento en que la operación de soldadura se efectúa solamente a partir del lado abierto de la V sin utilizar apantallamiento suplementario con gas inerte, material de revestimiento o soldadura ulterior en la cara reversa.
