Abstract
Un procedimiento para separar electrolíticamente iones metálicos de una solución de los mismos por medio de una celda electroquímica, en el que la solución se hace pasar en sentido ascendente a través de un lecho de partículas que actúan como cátodos en el compartimiento catódico de la celda, como resultado de lo cual dicho lecho se pone en estado fluidizado, y la solución que sale del compartimiento catódico se hace re circular parcialmente a través del lecho y se descarga parcialmente, y se hace pasar un líquido anódico a través del compartimiento anódico, que está separado del compartimiento catódico por un diafragma, caracterizado porque la solución en el compartimiento catódico y la solución re circulante se protegen del aire al objeto de evitar que absorban oxígeno.
