Abstract
Perfeccionamientos en los aparatos para medir las concentraciones de elementos de un material, mediante el método de captura con radiación gamma cuyos aparatos son del tipo que comportan, como fuente de neutrones (4), una fuente de isótopos o un generador de neutrones y comprenden, como detector de la radiación gamma, un detector semiconductor y están provistos de un moderador (3) que, al menos en parte, es agua pesada, caracterizados porque el detector está situado adecuadamente próximo a un espécimen o en el interior del espécimen comprendido en el flujo de neutrones lentos, y caracterizado, además, porque se dispone tal cantidad de moderador entre la fuente y el conjunto muestra-detector, que hasta el detector llegan tan solo pocos neutrones rápidos con un pequeño deterioro del detector.
