Abstract

Procedimiento e instalación para secar madera maciza, particularmente en la forma de tablas o productos semi acabados, por medio de vapor recalentado, estando dicho procedimiento caracterizado porque consiste en períodos de recalentamiento para calentar la madera por encima de 100ºC, que alternan con períodos de refrigeración para enfriar la madera por debajo de 100ºC, con el fin de mejorar la plastificación de la madera durante todo el proceso de secado.
